HISTORY

With a legacy spanning many decades as previous owners of the land, it is only fitting that Steele Business Park be named in honour of the Steele family of Winnipeg. Maurice Steele acted as patriarch and representative of the Steele family and managed the family land investment holdings for many decades. Originally purchased by Maurice’s father in the 1920s, the Steele family has and continues to play an instrumental role in the growth of residential and commercial development in this important node.
